Next meeting at 7pm Thursday @ moda

Hi everyone,

we'll be meeting next week at 7pm at cafe moda..

this week we'll try a bit of life drawing with clothes on from a seated position (and take it in turns eg. 10mins a pose) or else we can sketch whoever sitting beside us.

If you don't want to sketch from life bring a photo to work from..as always these are just suggestions to get the mind going.

Trying out new materials.

Sketch with Berol pen with washable ink, & water brush

Trying a monoprint with watercolours on a gelatin plate.

Sketch in pencil, watercolour pencil and waterbrush.

Meeting next Thursday @ 7pm @cafe moda

we'll probably meet on Wednesday the following week.

the themes for this week:

1) any object explored in a variety of mediums, eg. pastels, pencil, ink, watercolour, crayon, technical pens, etc..this is to learn how different mediums can result in different outcomes using the same object.

2) really abstract theme for this week is ' time' exploring it's different meanings or else bringing is an object from your past or something that is symbolic.

Next meeting- Thursday 12th@cafe moda

Hi everyone,

we will be meeting again next Thursday at 7pm @ cafe moda (main street in Rathmines).

If anyone would like me to add their blog of artworks to the list just let me know! (see my own one for an example- its very easy to set up).

The themes for next week will be :
1) Light (anything abstract or figurative)
or 2) bring an interesting item for a still life and we can swop items with the person sitting next to us.
